Fire Detection Technology
Early detection that counts: fire alarm systems that detect reliably, minimise false alarms and are embedded in the security concept.
Overview
A fire develops in minutes. The earlier it is detected, the greater the scope for evacuation, intervention and damage limitation. A fire alarm system is therefore not a box-ticking exercise to satisfy requirements, but a central building block of early hazard detection.
The skill lies in reliable detection while minimising false alarms. Incorrectly dimensioned or unsuitable detectors either trigger too late or generate false alarms that unnecessarily burden operations and emergency services and, over time, undermine trust in the system. We select detector technology and monitoring areas along actual use and fire load.
We plan fire detection along the relevant standards and in coordination with structural and organisational fire protection. This includes defining monitoring scopes, the connection to the fire brigade, the actuation of voice alarm and technical fire protection equipment, and the documentation required for acceptance and operation.
Here too we do not think in silos: the fire alarm system is connected with emergency notification, the security control room and – where sensible – the hazard management system. A single alert thus becomes a coordinated response chain of warning, evacuation and intervention.
As vendor-neutral consultants, we plan the system that fits your facility – not the one a single supplier has in its portfolio. The result is fire detection technology that warns early and reliably in an emergency and fits cleanly into the overall architecture.

Frequently asked questions
Which standards apply to fire alarm systems?
Key references are in particular DIN 14675 (design and operation of fire alarm systems) and DIN VDE 0833-2 (fire alarm systems). They govern planning, installation, acceptance and operation.
How can false alarms be reduced?
Through the correct selection and positioning of detectors along actual use and fire load. Multi-criteria detectors and adapted monitoring areas significantly reduce deceptive alarms.
Do you also plan the connection to the fire brigade?
Yes. The connection to the fire brigade, the actuation of voice alarm and technical fire protection equipment, and the necessary documentation are part of the planning.
