How does cybersecurity become autonomous – and what role does research play for the digital resilience of the future? This episode was recorded in German.

In this episode of our InCyber Forum special series, Manuel Bohé talks to Dr. Shari Finner from the Dutch research institute TNO about autonomous cybersecurity, digital sovereignty and the challenges facing modern critical infrastructure. At the centre is the question of how cybersecurity must adapt to a world in which attacks are faster, more complex and increasingly AI-driven. Together they discuss why traditional security concepts are reaching their limits and which new approaches – such as self-healing systems or autonomous resilience – could play a decisive role in the future.

🎙️ About our guest: Dr. Shari Finner works at the Dutch research institute TNO in the field of Cybersecurity Technologies. Her focus is on autonomous cybersecurity, digital sovereignty and resilient IT and OT infrastructure. Together with her team, she researches security concepts such as self-healing systems, security by design and the use of autonomous cyber resilience to protect critical infrastructure.
